MRO General Assembly

Our venue for the Leisure Ride/General Assembly/Elections is set… We are heading to Tanay Adventure Camp on the 22nd of April!!!

We have secured the HALL and sound system that will be used for the declaration of winners, induction and MRO/MAP announcements that will take place after lunch…

As much as MRO/MAP would like to cover everything, at this point in time, we are still at the foot of our fund building activities and we have not gotten any major sponsors yet… Rest assured that in due time, after our presence, activities and projects has pushed us to the known entities of the community, we will be able to create activities and events that all you need to do is show up…

For now, we have to treat this event as KKB…

Here is the breakdown:
Entrance fee – PHP 50.00
Food – PHP 150.00 – inclusive of 2 ulam, UNLI rice and bottled water

You have a choice of bringing in your own baon.

Here is the schedule:

  • 5:30-6:15 – Gathering at Shell Pugon, Marcos Hi-way
  • 6:15 – Gear up
  • 6:30 – Take off

** Other groups may take off from other sites and just meet us at the location. There will be meetups in QC, Shell J.Vargas and other areas where you and your group can head to the site on your own accord.**

8:00-8:30 – Arrival at the site
** You pay as you enter and you will be given a ballot that you will fill up and drop in the ballot box at the designated area near the main building of the site.**

9:00-12:00 – The nominees will be going around and will meet and greet with the participants of the ride. At this point, you are free to avail of the DISCOUNTED rates in the different activities around the camp. The activities and facilities are:

  1. Swimming pool
  2. Wall clime
  3. Rapelling
  4. Zorb Ball
  5. Zip Line

11:00-1:00 – Lunch will be served at PHP 150.00/pax which includes:

  • 2 ulam
  • unli rice
  • bottled watter

1:00-2:00 – Assembly at the Main Hall for the announcement of winners, induction of officers and speeches.

2:00-3:00 - MRO/MAP announcements and program updates

3:00 – END EVENT

Important reminders:
** All participants must be in minimum gear which includes a motorcycle helmet, long sleeves, gloves, pants and shoes.
** All motorcycles must comply to the LTO regulations on registration and basic components.
** All riders must have a valid license with restriction 1.
** All backrides must comply with the minimum gear requirements also.
** No speeding, overtaking unless signaled to do so, stunts and reckless behavior in the entirety of the ride.
** No littering at the camp site.
** No alcohol and drugs.
** Do not damage/vandalize any part of the site.
** Park properly.
** Do not leave your belongings UN-attended.

Damaged or lost property shall not be the responsibility of the site or organizers of this event.

Fund raising:
Shirts and stickers will be made available for those who wish to help the organization build it’s funding. There will also be a donation box for those who are willing to throw in a little extra. The proceeds will go to our safety and rights seminars that will be held in different locations around the city, Medical and first aid training programs, outreach and other community programs being organized by MRO/MAP.
