Kymco motors unveils the new scooter lineup headlined by the eagerly anticipated maxi scooter the AK 550.
The AK 550 is Kymco’s newest upscale maxi scooter model. Introduced last March during the Inside Racing Bike Fest, the AK 550 has been one of the most anticipated models in the local motorcycle scene. Boasting of advanced features like twin driving modes (Full Power and Rain), ABS, LED headlights and tail lights, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and an all-aluminum frame the AK 550 is poised to make a run on the high end market. Also featured on the AK 550 is Kymco’s Noodoe. Noodoe allows you to integrate your smart phone with your scooter. Vital information can be transferred from your smartphone right to your scooter display. Other features such as personalization and the capability to share with other Noodoe users make this feature a social as well as a technological experience.
The first 6 units of the AK 550 delivered to the Philippines were quickly sold and 3 of the lucky owners were on hand to receive their scooters from the Kymco officers.
Also introduced during the event was Kymco’s mid level touring scooter the Xtown 300 as well as the all new Super Z 150fi.
The Kymco AK550 is priced at 599k, the XTown 300i is priced at 199k while the Super Z 150fi is priced at 83.9K
