Last February 10, 2018, around 500 guests graced the city of dreams for the Kawasaki Motors (Phils.) Corporation’s 2018 dealer’s convention.
Titled as the power of 4, Kawasaki dealers from all over the country, representatives from Kawasaki heavy industries from japan and Bajaj auto limited from India, and esteemed members of the media, witnessed the launch of two of Kawasaki’s newest, and most anticipated models: the Dominar 400 and the ninja 400!
With its 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, digital triple spark ignition engine – the Dominar 400 is the first Kawasaki Philippines’s first Bajaj model equipped with anti-lock braking system. This high-powered sports touring machine that was born to sprint, and built to tour. The Dominar 400 exudes power and freedom, letting riders have the most exhilarating rides and adventures!
The launch of the Dominar 400 also attests to the continuously strengthening alliance between Kawasaki Motors Philippines and Bajaj Auto Limited – proving that the technical collaboration of these two motorcycle giants is indeed better and stronger than ever!
Hailing from the top-class ninja line-up, the Ninja 400 is imbued with the DNA of winning Kawasaki racing technology. With its 4-stroke, 8-valve, liquid-cooled, parallel twin, engine; the Ninja 400 offers a balance of superb performance, and high controllability, which offers excitement and ease of riding to both new and experienced riders. Living up to its reputation of being street born and track inspired.
These two new machines both offer riders the freedom to enter the expressways – allowing riders to push their boundaries to the limit.
Asides from these two new models, the guests were also treated to a display of the new generation of Rouser models, starting from the all-new rouser NS160, the reenergized rouser 200NS, and the sporty Rouser RS200. Other Kawasaki models were also revealed such as the classy W175 and W250, and the iconic Z900RS!
One of the biggest surprises for the evening, was the presence of Kawasaki’s three time, World Superbike champion, Jonathan Rea, and the country’s action superstar, Robin Padilla as they joined the executives both from Kawasaki and Bajaj to showcase the unity between the two motorcycle brands, truly exemplifying the meaning of the “Power of 4”.
