Prices differ in each country, that is something we all know and understand. Cost of living, import duties, basic materials, etc they all differ per country. That is why you can not buy the same thing for the same price in different countries, and that applies to motorcycles as much as anything else.
I decided to have a look at what the same motorcycle model costs around the world. It is not an easy exercise since most motorcycle manufacturer’s web sites do not list prices, and if they do, often they do not sell the same model, or list prices in some countries but not in others.
I guess I’ll have to buy my Harley in Canada now.
