In celebration of the 5th anniversary of Yamaha’s Blue Core Technology, Vietnamese contingents arrived at YZone in Greenfield to meet and greet the Yamaha Motors Philippines representatives.
The contingents from Vietnam were consist of 5 riders who were pre-selected by Yamaha Vietnam, a team of media and representatives from Yamaha Vietnam. The Vietnamese riders hopped on the Yamaha Mio Aerox to cruise around Metro Manila before arriving at YZone.
According to one of the riders, they immediately felt at home upon arriving at the airport going to their hotel. This was because of the similarity of the traffic situation in the Metro. The riding style though of the Filipino riders is totally different, it seems as if they are always out racing on the roads, something that is not common in Vietnam.
During the presscon, one of the Filipino riders asked the Vietnam contingents from Yamaha what the common problems or issued do they encounter with the Blue Core engine. In response, Blue Core engine does not really show one problem that is common to all bikes that are equipped with the Blue Core technology. This being said, it is difficult to specify a “common” problem being encountered with the Blue Core engines.
5 years ago, the Blue Core technology by Yamaha rides on the banner of providing the riders with maximum fuel efficiency and excellent performance. And Yamaha delivered as promised. In fact, for the last few years after the introduction of the Blue Core technology, Yamaha’s Mio line of scooters were named as the country’s number One scooter.
After the success of the Blue Core technology, what can the Filipino riding community expect from Yamaha. Blue Core is a testament that is really very challenging to level with. A new technology is being tested in Vietnam which will “SOON” hit the Philippine motorcycle industry. Another first from Yamaha, the introduction of the “Hybrid” motorcycles. As we know, this technology has been introduced to automotive industry, but Yamaha Motors will soon come out with Hybrid models that runs on both electric and gasoline.
Watch out for more from Yamaha Motors Philippines.
