Yamaha Motor Philippines: Race Your Flag, Filipinos!

Filipinos are slowly making our mark on global competitions. We have many great names in different sports events that the world will never forget. With great names like Manny Pacquiao, undoubtedly the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time, Efren “Bata”Reyes also dubbed as the Magician with his unbelievable skills and trick shots on the pool table. Filipinos definitely know how to compete and carve our marks on the global stage. With the slogan “Puso! Laban Pilipinas”, Filipino athletes can never be set aside by anyone.

As the country’s renowned athletes, the next generation steps up eager to have their turn as they represent the Three Stars and the Sun in the fast and competitive world of motorsports. Yamaha Motor Philippines with the Hero Creation Program gives the proper avenue for aspiring young racers to make their marks in the global arena with the goal of having the first-ever Filipino icon in MotoGP.

Yamaha Motor Philippines sets the stage for the new generation of racers as a LIVE press conference was held at Carmona Racing Circuit in Cavite. YMPH proudly announced that the Yamaha Racing Team headed by Mr. Jordan Cornista is officially listed to battle the new season of Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) and FIM JuniorGP World Championship (FIM JRGP).

Continuing his legacy, “The Wonderboy” McKinley Kyle Paz is focused on his pursuit to win the championship with his new league – Yamaha Philippines Stylo Bike Racing Team. The stakes are higher and preparations more intense as this will be Kyle’s first rodeo on a 700cc beast compared to the previous 600cc he used. Kyle will represent the country in the FIM JRGP. With a great team and overwhelming support, all eyes are on Kyle to be the first-ever Filipino racer to ever race in the prestigious MotoGP.

As the new season of ARRC about to begin, YMPH is determined to have only the best of the best in their roster of young racers. Among 14 racers, only 2 stood out and became the brand’s representatives. Under the UMA Racing MMR Yamaha Philippine Racing Team, the top 2 racers April King “The Hitman” Mascardo and Gian Carlo Mauricio will compete to represent the Philippines against other countries.

Always revving forward, YMPH unveiled the new YZF-R15M as the highlight of the day in Carmona Racing Circuit. With Yamaha Racing Academy Safety Chief Instructors, member of the motoring media, moto vloggers and select members of Yamaha Aerox Club were given the chance to test ride the new addition to the R-world.

With outstanding teams working together, the men and women behind these preparations, the racers suit up in anticipation of the next races, the battle is far from over and everyone is hopeful that a Filipino racer will wave our flag on the top of the podium…as Yamaha Philippines lead the way to and invite everyone to RACE YOUR FLAG, FILIPINOS!!!
