The Hardcore Brothers are back, what started as a dream of simply sharing what the Philippine roads with its scenic views has to offer has finally been complete. After traveling the whole of the Northern loop for Season 1, the whole of Mindanao for Season 2, and the whole of Visayas for Season 3 they now have conquered the whole of the Philippines in one take. Thus, the Hardcore Brothers Easyride TV series has officially ripped the roads of the whole archipelago on their custom cruisers and choppers.
The Hardcore Brothers Easy Ride “The Republic” airs every Sunday starting July 14 at 11 :OOAM (lunch time) on Studio 23. The show will present what actually transpires on a long motorcycle road trip through the eyes of seven hardcore riders whose personal backgrounds and characters are as diverse as their riding experiences. The new breed of seven (7) riders namely Jimmy D.L. Barinaga, who is the executive producer of the show, is a custom bike builder and fabricator. Butch Llige, a veteran rider and a well known TV director, rides with the group and is the show’s director no less. Bong “Pandesal” Diaz, Master Motorcycle Mechanic par excellance. Nap Villanueva is a licensed Geologist. The group’s maverick entrepreneur Alvin Bautista. Jesse James Gallardo, a Restaurateur and a mean looking big guy with a soft heart, and funny man Bong “Bisaya” Bonaobra the resident Motorcycle Electrical Specialist.
The Hardcore Brothers Easy Ride “The Republic” features the best of the islands. The amazing vintage motorcycle museum in Calaca, Batangas. The spectacular gathering of motorcycle riders and grand ride thru Don Salvador Pass in Bacolod. The hospitality and exquisite food of Cebu. The eerie feeling upon paying tribute at the marker of the victims of Typhoon Sendong in Cagayan De Oro. The never ending lines of pineapple plants and extreme adventure places of Bukidnon, The mysterious Enchanted River of 5urigao Del Sur. The long hike to the beholden Bega Waterfalls of Agusan del Sur. The historic and heritage filled Baler in Aurora. The tranquil little·town 5,000 ft. above sea level of Sagada. It also features the northern most town of Sta.Ana, Cagayan where the historic Cape Engalio Lighthouse on Palaui Island stands as a beacon of our culture. And as if the riders were not tired yet, they did a grueling half-iron man challenge of 750km non-stop ride from Sta.Ana, Cagayan to San Fernando, Pampanga before meeting up with fellow riders from different motorcycle clubs going to the final stretch to end the journey at Km.0.
As the kilometers sped by, The 26 days of riding and being exposed to all kinds of elements, add tiredness, lack of sleep, and fatigue tested the riders’ strength and patience. Yet, in the face all these challenges, they managed to ride over 5,782 kilometers. Inspired by the priceless smiles of countless nameless faces who greeted them on the road and the mission of a seamless ride.
As the journey continued the bikers found delight in documenting their adventure taking pictures and videos in every stop. Behind them a four men crew held their cameras rolling unrelentingly to capture each of the biker’s amusing, hilarious, critical and arduous moments that make up the show’s 13 rockin’ and rollin’ entertaining episodes.
